Contract Terms and Conditions
All reservations confirmations are rental contracts between the person named in the confirmation and Bart Benders of Swiss Mountain Holidays. By providing a valid payment you have accepted the terms and conditions of the contract and agree to honour the contract as follows.
Arrivals:
Swiss Mountain Holidays will meet the tenant at the accommodation for Check In any time between 17:00 and 22:00. The tenant will inform Swiss Mountain Holidays of their arrival time within 24 hours of their arrival by email, telephone or tex message.
If not already provided the tenant will provide a valid credit card as deposit upon arrival.
Departures:
We would ask that the tenant inform Swiss Mountain Holidays of their time of departure before 20:00 the day before departure.
Check out is to be done between 7:30 and 9:00. Before this time the tenant is responsible for:
1. Informing us of any damages that may have occured.
2. Remove of all garbage.
3. Cleaning of dishes.
4. Removal of linen and towels from the beds and placed in the bath.
Swiss Mountain Holidays reserves the right to charge supplemental charges if the accommodation is left in a state the does not correspond to normal use.
Payment:
Swiss Mountain Holidays thanks you for reserving your accommodation with us. Reservations can be made online or via email. Reservations are only completed once you have received a confirmation number via email and payment has been made by either bank transfer or credit card as recognition of your contract.
1. Bank transfer.
Swiss Mountain Holidays kindly requests that you process your payment via bank transfer to the following account within 14 days of the date the reservation has been made.

Note all transfers are to be made in Swiss Francs. Transfers made in Euros will be converted to Swiss Francs automatically by your bank, and conversion is not the responsibility of Swiss Mountain Holidays. Transactions fees are the responsibility of the sender.
2. Credit Card Payments
All reservations must be made by using a valid credit card. By providing us with your credit card details. You are accepting all the terms and conditions of the reservation as explained in this document.
If you choose not to pay via bank transfer. By providing us with your credit card you accept that payment will be charged to your credit card after 14 days of the reservation being made. All credit card payments are subject to a third party charge of 1,5% above the confirmed amount to be processed at the time of transaction.
All reservations confirmations sent will be considered nul and void with out payment with in 14 days and thus Swiss Mountain Holidays is no longer responsible for honoring the confirmation sent, the dates agreed upon or the rate after this date. Swiss Mountian Holidays acknowledges that some reservations are made by groups. And that individuals with in the group may want to pay seperately. In this case please feel free to contact us regarding payment arrangements that would suit you.
Cancelation or Change of Reservation Policies:
In the case that a tenant wishes to cancel or change a reservation. They are required to do so by email. In this case the following conditions apply.
Charges to process a change of reservation are Sfr. 50.- per booking.
A change within 8 weeks of the arrival date will be regarded as a cancellation and will be treated that way. The cost of cancellation are shown below:
More than 8 weeks before arrival date 50 % of the bookings amount
From 5 to 8 weeks before arrival date 60 % of the bookings amount
From 3 to 4 weeks before arrival date 70 % of the bookings amount
From 1 to 2 weeks before arrival date 80 % of the bookings amount
From 1 to 6 days before arrival date 100 % of the bookings amount
Swiss Mountain Holidays reserves the right to change or cancel a reservation. In this case we will try to offer you the choice of:
1. An alternate accommodation.
2. Alterante dates.
3. Return of payment.
The tenant is required to provide their choice by email to Swiss Mountain Holidays within 14 days of the offer.
Cancelation insurnace is available. We can provide you with insurance for 5% of the rental rate. Please confirm by email if you intend on purchasing cancelation insurance?
Complaints and Responsibility:
Swiss Mountain Holidays will do everything in our power to assure you of a great vacation. If for any reason you feel dissatisfied please contact us as soon as possible so that we can address the issue immediately. Of course we can not be held responsible for a lack of snow, weather conditions, natural disasters and war.
When a reservation has been confirmed by payment the tenant is accepting the conditons of the reservation as follows.
1. The tenant acknowledges responsibility for the any damages that may occur to the accommodation during the contract period.
2. The tenant confirms that they have a comprehensive travel Insurance policy. If the tenant is not insured. The tenant acknowledges the right of Swiss Mountain Holidays to charge any damages, lost or stolen property to the guest. Either by invoice or the credit card provided at the time of confirmation.
3. The quoted price includes the following costs, administration fee, TVA, Tax de Sejour, the end of the week cleaning, bed linen, gas, water, and electricity.
4. Pets are not allowed on the property at any time.
5. The tenant agrees to follow all house rules, and obey the law.
6. The accommodations are non smoking.
7. Swiss Mountain Holidays reserves the right to visit the accommodation at any time.
Violations of this contract may lead to immediate removal from the accommodation and or extra charges, such as cleaning or administration charges.
